MirrorSync — 2-Minute Setup Guide

Welcome! MirrorSync mirrors inventory (and optionally product details) from a source store to a destination store. Setup takes about two minutes.

Before you start

• You'll need admin access to both stores.
• Decide your direction: the source store is the "truth" — the destination will follow it.
• MirrorSync never deletes anything in either store. Worst case, a SKU simply pauses syncing and tells you why.

Step 1 — Install on both stores

Install MirrorSync from the App Store on the source store and the destination store: https://apps.shopify.com/mirror-sync

Step 2 — Pair the stores

1. In the source store, open MirrorSync and choose "This is a source store", then click Generate pairing code.
2. In the destination store, open MirrorSync, choose "This is a destination store", and enter the code.

Codes are one-time and expire quickly — generate a fresh one if needed.

Step 3 — Let the initial import run

MirrorSync scans both catalogs and matches products automatically by SKU, falling back to barcode. For a typical catalog this takes a few minutes.

When it finishes, check the Mapping table:

• ✅ Matched SKUs are already syncing.
• ⚠️ Ambiguous or unmatched items are listed separately — map them manually with two clicks, or leave them unmapped (they'll simply be ignored).

Tip: clean, unique SKUs on both sides = perfect auto-matching. If your stores use different SKU schemes, the manual override table is your friend.
